Bold red wine, for sure. And I love tasting different varietals from France, Italy, Spain, and other places. Some blends are amazing, too.

I rarely drink white wine. But there are some good ones. And a cold, crisp, white wine can be delicious on a warm day.

I am the ONLY Italian in the planet who DESPISES red wine unless it's the UB40 song... Blush, Pinot, port, sangrias and THE BEST wine ever: Japanese Plum Wine!!! PLEASE TREAT YOURSELF!!!

I like both, really dark red wine that is practically dark blue or violet. Moldavian Kagor or Krimskoye red sparkling wine.
To fish or some pork dishes I prefer white wines like spaetlese Riesling or white Burgunder

Wine made from grapes is swill for the most part. The best wine I ever had was some sparkling apple bum wine that I made from frozen concentrated apple juice, water, and champagne yeast. Fermented in an old glass 5 gallon jug and drank unaged, right after the fermentation slowed down enough for everything to fall to the bottom. It tasted great and put 3 alcoholics to sleep, it was about 15% alcohol. It was only good for a couple weeks until it started tasting like soy sauce 🤢

At home we would only drink red wine, so I never knew anything else. But when I was in Italy, I tried both red and white wine for the first time in one sitting, and I honestly preferred the white win
