Bananas are best enjoyed without the peel! The soft, sweet fruit inside is a delightful treat. I remember a trip to Thailand where I discovered banana sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves. And in Japan, there's a unique banana with an edible peel. Normally, though, the peel is discarded. 🍌

So far, as of this writing, my faith in humanity's ability to know how to eat a banana is being maintained.

I do not eat banana peels, although I must admit to having had an accidental taste of banana peel once or twice in my life.
