I never tried them, but I'm open to it! I love eating lemon peel with a bit of salt and chili powder. I've seen some recipes online cooking with banana peel and I think it will be fun to try them!
Chili powder? Interesting mix
Salt and chili powder is quite common to add to sour/tangy fruits to eat! Think raw mango, for instance.
I heard banana peels can be mixed with other ingredients to create anti wrinkle facial cream but I never made it myself, you need a blender to mix it though.
I prefer they get used in manures as the peel can contain dust and other stuff which are probably not healthy to consume
That may be true, but only if the peels have NOT been sprayed or polished with insecticides or VOC waxes.
I hear what your saying
If you intend to eat the peel then after buying fruits and vegetables you should soak them in water with baking soda for at least 20 minutes and thoroughly wash them to remove and pesticides on the peel!
@CubsterShura. Thanks for the tip.
Thank you for MHG!

Orange peels, yes.
Babana peels, nope... too fibrous.
The Nazis experimented with orange peels during WW2. They thought they could make rocket fuel out of it.
No, I use them as compost for my flower beds in garden instead
What's your deal? It all tastes like crap. So you naturally dispose of it. What kind of weirdo health nuts you listen to are off their rocker.
No health but, I been eating them since I was a little kid
I just like them
You are a pig. I'm not calling you one, just sayin. It's what you feed pigs, the hog trough, or the compost heap.
