The reason some Chinese dishes cannot be reproduced at home is that they use M. S. G. in a lot of their restaurant dishes, as well as other toxic chemicals that are not recommended for the body. The one food you can make at home that tastes exactly like the restaurant is any type of congee dish. I do not have the ingredients by memory but there are websites that will tell you how to make it. I also believe you can make chicken pad Thai at home and have it taste exactly like the restaurant, as well as any red or green or yellow chicken curry.

You mean teriyaki? Cause if so, a lot of it is soy sauce, come to think of it, soy sauce is used for a lot of their sauces including that famous orange chicken sauce
