What is your usual alcoholic drink of choice?

I drink on rare occasion but I always go for chambord mixed with cold sprite.

I don't drink often at all, but I do like the occasional quality red wine with dinner or at a party. I had a wonderful wine for with Thanksgiving dinner.
I also like dessert wines, port and brandy.
Some liqueurs are really tasty.
I like some rum, gin or tequila cocktails.
Beer doesn't thrill me, but I enjoy the occasional stout/porter.

I rarely drink alcohol anymore but periodically enjoy a good French Brandy of Cognac, or a very good 21 year old single malt scotch, with a meal a good red Cabernet Savignon or a good white Savignon Blanc.

I love drinking a martini. Over time, I've become pretty good at making them for friends.

More interestingly, I love making drinks for friends when they visit. I'm no bartender, but I make a great espresso martini (if I do say so...). I make a nice Negroni. An outrageous margarita.

I'm pretty good at concocting something to order...

Depends on the occasion. If it's with a meal, it's either red or white wine, or beer, depending on the food. For special occasions or chilling with friends, it's a good sipping whiskey. I like bourbon or Irish whiskey, and scotch once in a while.
