Backing. Bird meat needs to be done but no overcooked. Backing oven has more precise temperature control than a pan. Personally I prefer 140 degree Celsius for birds, just backing time varies on piece and thickness.
Prefer to sauté
Cooking and baking chicken offer distinct experiences and flavors. I love baking chicken for the tender, juicy texture it often yields, with that comforting, slow-cooked aroma wafting through the kitchen. However, cooking methods like pan-searing or grilling bring out a savory, crispy exterior and lock in those bold, intense flavors. Deep frying can be a thrilling adventure with its crunchy, golden finish. Each method has its own charm, and trying them all enhances the exploration of flavors and techniques 🍗🔥.

i'm not big on eating the skin. i really don't like the white meat either. so for those i'd probably slow cook them in a crockpot. really depends on if you like crispy skin or not. crispy skin you have to bake or fry and i don't have a fryer so the oil on the stove method can be a mess but doable. takes practice.
give me a 20-pack of drumsticks any day and i will boil them on the stove in a big vat of water for 20-30 minutes. that's my favorite way. no spice, no oil, just water and legs. it's some of the best chicken you'll ever have if you don't overcook it.
@Staximus she wouldn't be wrong...
Try this one, crazy guy. Take your 20 pack of drumsticks and put them in a ziplock bag. Dump a whole bottle of cheap Italian dressing in the bag and jostle the drumsticks about until they are all coated with dressing. Throw that in the fridge for 2 or 3 days. Take the drumsticks and put them in a baking pan and bake for 45 minutes on 350.
@Staximus boring marinated chicken. talk about a snooze fest. might as well drink vinegar
@Staximus maybe you're boiling your chicken wrong? it's fantastic!
@Staximus 20 legs can easily get me through 3 full days and probably 5! i can't afford and don't like the taste of chicken breasts which is what chicken soup uses. so eating for up to 5 days for $5 is economical for me. i will have a can of mixed vegetables for 66 cents to go with it. i have an 88 cent 4 pack of margarine that last a very long time! and tap water is so refreshing! i even have this part of the fridge that makes water cubes that cools the drink.
that's just over a dollar a day to eat a really good meal. i don't always have that meal, but i do have to use it when i buy it. sometimes i have pasta for 33 cents a box with it. i'll buy some tortillas for $1 for chicken taco. it's great!

As for me I have an Ronco Rotisserie & although it’s old I still like rotisserie chicken & it tastes great. Baked chicken would be my second choice.
We used to do more baking/casseroles. Recently, I made more likely to cut up the pieces, sear them and set aside'; start up some veggies, add back the meat and make a sauce. Sometimes I will just cook up a bunch of chicken bits, pork bits, beef bits, keep them in the fridge and add them to whatever is getting cooked up that day.
We always baked chicken in my house. It just much healthier. We never fry anything
We mostly cook it here in gravy. My favourite is butter chicken masala and chicken changezi.
I cook chicken about eight different ways. I grill it a lot, but I also pan fry, oven fry, bake, and occasionally deep fry.
Even though it's unhealthy I like fried chicken the best.
