What colour beer do you prefer?

There's umpteen brands of beer but you can generally classify them by colour and its a good guide to whether you'll like them or not

So what colour of beer do you normally go for? I'm not a big beer drinker but when I do have one it's usually an amber or a red ale.

Blonde ale

Pale ale

Amber ale

Red ale

Brown ale

I’m a stout man at heart. Brown ales can be good too. But honestly, I don’t think any alcohol tastes “good” in the traditional sense, just “good for alcohol, still making it a Bottom 5 beverage, independent of the effects.” So I’m not really a “beer guy”, I just drink beer in beer-drinking situations.

But aesthetically, the darker the better, or ambers and reds. We used to get kegs of Killian’s Irish Red back when I hosted parties in college👍 When I see your standard American lagers in a glass, Budweiser, etc, they look too much like a fresh urine sample to be appetizing😂

The darker the more potent I learned that the hard way but kept going back to that bar

There is a bar up in Washington that I would go to and they didn't have your Miller draft or your Budweiser or your Coors they had beer they had dark beer they had. Beer I've never even heard of.

But you got to be careful cuz it will kick your ass

Definitely more of an IPA guy myself. I don't mind stouts like Guinness and Dragon Stout here and there.

Some IPA brands I tend to go for are Flying Monkey Juicy Ass and Life In The Clouds.

Although not an IPA, I also enjoy Rickards Red.

Blonde Ale or Pale Ale. But I also drink Red Ale and Stout. But my favorite beers are Blonde or Pale, since that is just the usual color for Pils, Lager and Helles.

Where I live we have something called dark beer, (Dunkel Bier) in german. There is something about it that for me makes it less bitter than the others like pale ale or lager.

In the field of beer, I don't really mind the colour, but still with a hint of preference for amber, brown and very dark.

Ginger probably wins out with Scotch or Irish, vodka or even Remy Martin VSOP

Really prefer golden but amber is closest. I liked pale ale for one summer only and not going back. But that is the right color.
