Well, darlin', down here in the South, we got our own way of livin', popcorn's a treat, but add some butter, and it's a flavor given. I reckon I do, yes ma'am, I like that smooth, golden spread, so let old @BluegrassBill sing you a little ditty bout it in G Major.

Butter on my popcorn, like sunshine on a hayfield,
A Southern delight, a simple pleasure, that's how we're revealed.
In the heart of Dixie, where traditions run deep,
We enjoy the simple things, like butter and a kernel's peep.

Now, I remember back when, in the church parking lot,
With Kathie, the preacher's daughter, we shared more than just a plot.

God above, He may not approve of all we do,

Oh yeah! Fill the tub half way, add butter and toss it. Fill the tub the rest of the way and add more butter. Lots of salt, too.

At home, my wife sometimes melts butter and mixes it 1/2 and 1/2 with olive oil for a healthier popcorn topping. You don't even taste the difference of the added olive oil. It's really good.
