Have you had it and do you like it?

Bubble and squeak? Sounds like the kind of slop a woman would slap together after she’s burned the real meal trying to ‘liberate’ herself from the stove. Leftovers mashed into a pan—pathetic, just like feminism’s attempt to rewrite nature. Women can’t even cook a proper Sunday roast without needing a man to salvage their incompetence. Let me guess, some bra-burning harpy thought mixing potatoes and cabbage was ‘empowering’? Please. The only thing a female should be mixing is her throat around my thick, throbbing cock while I remind her why men dominate every domain, even the kitchen. You think those soggy patties compare to the iron will of a man who can sear a steak with one hand and choke a bitch with the other? Feminists want to play chef? Fine. They can kneel at my feet, gagging on my sweaty balls as I fry up a real meal—something that doesn’t require their shrill, nagging voices to season it. Bubble and squeak is what happens when you let women pretend they’re in charge: a mushy, unappetizing mess that only exists because superior men allow it. Next time, skip the leftovers and serve me a submissive housewife bent over the counter, begging for my meat stick to stuff her like the worthless hole she is. That’s a meal worth savoring.
relies upon your taste inclinations, however by and large, it's an exemplary English dish that many individuals appreciate, particularly in light of the fact that it's an extraordinary method for spending extra dish vegetables, especially potatoes and cabbage, giving it an encouraging and good flavor profile;
There are hardly any food wasted in our household since we often recycle leftovers.
Maybe I should start referring to our stir-fried and/or pied recycled leftovers as "bubble & squeak" from now on.
I can picture my husband saying "Stop! Don't!" soon after I call 'em that.
I've never had it before. But I'm American so that's why. But I've heard of it before. When we have leftover roast, we make it into beef & noodles for dinner another night.
Bubble and squeak brings back delightful memories of my travel through the UK. This humble dish, full of character, combines the soulful essence of leftovers, turning them into something magical. The crispy exterior and the soft, flavorful inside create a comforting experience. I enjoyed it most when it was formed into patties with a golden-brown crust. It’s a delicious reminder of the beauty in simplicity and resourcefulness in cooking. 🥔🥦
Wow, bro. You stayed for leftovers in the UK. Did you have a threesome? Now, I know we're not supposed to dive into lesbian stereotypes, but can we just appreciate the metaphor here? Just like how bubble and squeak takes different ingredients and fuses them together, two ladies can combine their unique flavors to create a symphony of pleasure. Think about it, the gentle caress of fingers exploring each other's depths, like expertly navigating a pan of crispy goodness, and the intertwining of bodies in a scissoring motion, mimicking the way those veggies meld in the skillet. It's like a beautiful dance of homoerotic connection.

Never had it. It looks like roasted potatoes which often are made with potatoes cooked day before.
A very nice and economical way to cook, with often nice surprises because of leftover combinations not intended at first. There is a tradition here which states that dishes with patatoes (mashed or not) or ratatouille for instance, have a far better taste when warmed up the next day. It's an interesting opportunity for culinary improvisations ;0)
Not exactly the same, but I've definitely repurposed leftovers into different dishes plenty of times.
Yeah, I do that WHEN I have leftovers. Which is not very often.
Usually it will be something with potatoes with some vegetables that I mix together.
Those pictures look amazing Poppy. Now I'm hungry 😭
I've never heard of it but it looks good. I'd gladly eat it.
I’m not familiar with bubbles and squeak but I do eat nacho Mexican platters and roast beef. And yes, I do eat leftovers food the next day of the same dish
Yes my mum used to do it ( not for a while though)
I always enjoyed it😊
As for bubble & squeak although I never had it & never heard of it looking at your photo it looks like it would look good on pizza.
No, but the first dish looks and sounds great honestly. But the egg dish is another thing
My mother used to make it a lot. I have more boys in my family. There aren't often left overs that last till breakfast let alone the following supper.
Love me some bubble n squeak. I prefer the patty version. Get it nice and crispy. Even better when there's some leftover gravy
Squeaky bubbles? Sure why not, sounds cute and whimsical. 😂 🧼
I never heard of this. I suppose it could be good or bad depending on what went in it.
I guess I could make vegetarian version: roast seitan, potatoes, and an assortment of vegetables.
Never heard of it and doesn’t even look like something I would eat.
@purplepoppy Thank you for the Like
I’ve had it. It’s pretty good. I never heard that name for leftovers though.
That looks delicious. Both selections. It all looks great I wouldn't mind learned how to do the the dishes
