What was the weirdest food, fruit or dessert you've ever tried?

Weirdest food for me?
Probably snails, was pretty tasty.
Others find it weird that I've eaten: sheep head, tasted fermented sheep balls (will never be something I'll enjoy but I live by that I can't say something is yuck until I try it), Surströmming (same as with the sheep balls, just the smell is enough to 🤢 for me) and horse meat.
Surströmming? the world's worst smelling food was chosen it, How did you taste it despite the smell? It must have been a very strange experience.
It took me about an hour to work my way into it. Key is to open outside, then retreat FAR away, get a couple of sips of Brennivín (Icelandic moonshine type of thing), hold your breath as you close in - get a trained Surströmming eater to meet you half way with a peace, quickly eat (tastes as bad as it smells) - 🤢 a little and then take another sip of Brennivín and then you swear never do to yourself this disfavour again as the boys laugh at your pain.
Thank you for the explanation 👍
Steamed silkworms in the chrysalis stage. Eating a bug where you bite into the outer shell and suck out the guts just isn’t my favorite dish. It seemed to be popular with the Chinese I was dining with. I’ve actually had a number of “interesting” meals in China.
Eating bug and insect is very popular in some countiries.
Crocodile. It was good, tasted similar to chicken.
Snake soup sounds like quite an adventure! 😳 Oddly enough, one of my most memorable culinary experiences involved trying kopi luwak, the infamous coffee made from beans digested by civet cats. Despite its unusual production, the taste was surprisingly smooth and rich. From unique roasts like that to tasting durian in Thailand with its notorious aroma, each unusual experience adds a dash of excitement to my food journey.

Crikey do I not like sushi at all.
At all.
At all - however I do purchase soda from them if there's no one else nearby to get my Pepsi mmmm so bless them lucky Buddha as I own my own Laughing Buddha statue at home 😋 really.
sushi :-) It's not considered a weirdest food. Have you ever tried eating something out of the ordinary?
Its weird to me. I'm a very particular eater lol 😆
Sensitive stomach perhaps me even lol 😅
My father shot a few squirrels in our backyard from the bathroom window. He took them over to my grandmother and she fried them up. They were not as tasty as you would think.
