Are there refreshments on bus trips in the US?

All intercity bus companies in Turkey offer refreshments during the trip. Some offer a little, some a lot. There are water, tea, coffee, cola, fruit juice for drinks; and cakes, salty crackers, and sweet biscuit for food. I even came across a croissant once. Some companies also offer ice cream in the summer. Another company even offered a local dish called "raw meatballs". I really recommend it. I would want to travel with that company just for this reason. Raw meetballs is not made from raw ground meat as its name suggests. It is made from bulgur, oil and various spices. Some people actually put raw ground meat in it, but I don't eat it. I wonder if this is the only situation with bus companies in Turkey? Have you ever experienced a similar situation if you have taken a bus trip in the US or any other country?

I haven't taken a bus intercity in decades. But if there were buses with the same services as U. S. trains, it would certainly make them appealing. And the pictures you included of those nice seats AND servers rolling the food to you, would also make bus travel a better option.

I haven't taken a bus trip in many years. When I did, there were no refreshments on the bus. Every hour or so, the bus would stop for a short bathroom and food break, typically 15-20 minutes, where you could get refreshments to eat/drink, and take back onto the bus.

No, because there is no such thing. There is no alcohol service on buses. However, there is some alcohol service on planes. On trains, you can drink the alcohol you brought with you in the sleeping cars. But I don't like that.
