Do you like sharing beverages with people?

It’s always been a pet peeve of mine. I can’t seem to link the video but someone sent me this after asking me out. They said “This could be us”. When I tell you I nearly puked in the middle of laughing. Absolutely not. I already don't even like to share a beverage, but to drink straight from eachother’s mouths 😂 I can’t. Yes l will kiss you all over your body. But oddly enough, doing something like what’s in the pic is where I draw the line haha. #FeelFreeToList

I would NEVER do what those two were doing. But I've shared sips of drinks with girlfriends and my wife. Letting both of our lips touch the same straw or the rim of a glass is no big deal.

My wife or I will sometimes ask to taste a cocktail the other is having.
Or we'll be planning to order wine at a restaurant and ask the waiter if we can sample it first. When he pours a sample, my wife will taste it and leave some in the glass for me to taste.
I've even taken a sip from a friend's beer bottle before when I was young. It's not like either of us were backwashing in it.

When my wife and I feel like a chocolate malt or a root beer float, we will sometimes just get one with two straws and two spoons.

I've known my husband since high school.

When we started dating exclusively in college, we began sharing beverages.

T'was never an issue for either both of us.

Nobody else can share with either or both of us.

Nope. There’s one friend in particular who always grosses me out bc she drinks from my glass before I get to taste my beverage and leaves a thick lipstick stain on it so I’m put off from having my drink. The only think it’s safe to drink around her is plain water and black coffee.

I’m sort of against the idea of sharing my food or beverage with another person, simply because I have a weak autoimmune system and if I catch someone’s illness it will affect me way more than it would themselves.

So no.. as romantic as it sounds I’m just not in the position to risk it sadly. 🤒

Depends on the circumstances. I don't do two straws. I don't think it's "romantic".

If I'm hiking with my SO or my son then generally I carry a flask suitable for both of us to have enough if it's a relatively short walk. For longer I carry and I make sure we've all got water in a survival backpack or flask.
