I've no qualms. Deer aren't a problem where I live but they're a huge problem in some British counties and if more people ate them it would really help the environment.

Here in North Carolina deer have3 become a problem to many farmers and If they are not hunted they increase the number of vehicular collisions. A large mule deer can total a car and an impaled antler has been known to kill. I know people who refuse to buy meats from grocery stores because they feel it is contaminated. Venison makes a fine Chile or Stew. Fat content is low, It is a healthier choice when you can get it.

In Ireland the only hunting was done against foxes and badgers but living in America my husband hunts deer, wild sheep, boar, elk, duck etc. Fishes too.
