Do you enjoy dinner parties?

I usually host my famous dinners three-four times a week. I like to start off early (around 6-7PM) and end late (2-3AM, but sometimes 4AM). I enjoy always having someone over. Sometimes I cook the food myself, but generally I pick up stuff from my wife' shop (with her permission), my family's production plant and order catering for the rest. Although I quit drinking and smoking I offer liquors and cigars and overall I try to make sure everything is available to my guests.

After dinner we either chat, play card games or board games, or watch movies. I even created a WhatsApp group with my friends to keep them updated and usually I text them in the afternoon to let them know I'd like to come over for dinner. I like to call it my Corte de' Compagnoni (Court of the Companions) and we have all titles like a real court - we have the King, the Queen, the Pope, the Tsar, etc.

This sounds cute and all to do in the weekend. It’s NOT normal to do this on week days, don’t y’all have jobs?
4 times a week from 6PM to 4AM sounds fucking exhausting, I’m not sure all your friends want to do this so often, I think they go along with it for your sake

I run my own business, I'd be bankrupt running 9-5 5 days a week 11 months a year
Far prefer my 10-8, 7 days a week, no times off (well one day a year)

Yes, I do. Not my favourite thing to do with friends, but with family, yes for sure. When I’m with friends I prefer actively doing an activity like painting, skating, mini golfing etc.
