Where are you located. If NY there are plenty of Ray's which is consistent;y good and reasonably priced. Chicago, well they get an asterisk because they pride themselves on deep dish pizza which is sufficiently different to not qualify with NY style pizza. SF Bay Area has a lot of good independent places. LA used to have smoked salmon and caviar pizza at Spago but that's been closed for a while. They might still have their Vegas. If you need to wing it I'd check out a couple that got from Zagat, Yelp or similar. I'm pretty sure either will have a category for pizza alone. Go to the places ( if that's possible) &see how busy they are during lunch. Try to determine if they are local or tourists. A full place with a line filled by patrons who seem local or not. Go the busiest one. I would think there would be a category in Reddit I think that's about as objective judgment.. Yelp, I believe, has sketchier reviews. I think that they are screening this better now but I wouldn't be surprised if ever family and family friends are included in the highest ratings

In a world filled with pizza places the best are out there & some of them are right around the corner waiting to be found. As for me I love pizza & I love those mom & pop pizza shops that are family run & that have been in the family for generations.

Chain pizza places where the shit comes off of a conveyor belt isn’t pizza to me.

There is a mall in Philadelphia called King of Prussia mall, and they have the best Spinach Pizza I've ever tasted in my entire life. I have not been there in over ten years and I do not know if the pizza place is still there. I do not even know if the mall is still there.

In my city we have a lot of Italians so we have a few good spots to get pizza.
I would say Aurora's, Mrs. B's, and Gus's. After those really good pizza's I would say Chuck E. Cheese then domino's are alright and typical franchise food.
