Significant difference between a burger and a burger. Mcdonalds? You're eating as many lab chemicals as you are actual food. Directly from the butcher? No big issues!
Bread is a staple food due to being dense in calories. Today we typically class calorie dense food as unhealthy - although the tradeoff is often a tad more complicated and has to do with how many proteins or other non-calorie content a food has.
A burger usually comes with bread, ketchup, dressing. Which alone constitutes several hours of your calorie needs. Fantastic if you live in a starving world, horribly unhealthy if you live in an obese world.
Burgers just don't really have appeal to athletes. Its not dense enough in proteins and vitamins to be suitable food. While you can absolutely work out, eat burgers and get great results reality is that you would get better results with a different diet. So their appeal ends up being as a calorie-bomb, because calorie rich food usually taste good.

A double bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions & a fried egg on top. Lettuce, tomato, pickles, the works & basket of fries too.
To me that’s healthy & to a cardiologist that is a different story.
if they're not fried tho
If it’s not fried, it’s no good & back to the cardiologist if it isn’t fried they would be out of job.
Because it is. Fast food burgers are basically poison that rots your gut and increases the likelihood of contracting many cancers. Homemade are slightly healthier, but not by much.
Burgers often carry the perception of being unhealthy due to their high calorie count and potential for processed ingredients. Many burgers come with large portions of red meats, high-fat cheeses, and sugary sauces, all of which contribute to this image. However, opting for lean proteins, whole-grain buns, and fresh toppings like lettuce and tomato can transform a burger into a balanced meal. The choice of cooking methods, like grilling or air frying, can also make a significant difference. 🍔

I think because of the ingredients I've been reading what food contains for Years. Honestly most of the drinks, food we eat has something not too healthy for us. Specially in fast food restaurants. That is why I make my food at home. Last thing I love burgers too.
it is noot the burger itself, it is al the fatty stuff that gets piled on.
There is no ham in a burger. It's ground beef or else it's not a burger
Yeah i meant beef
I think it depends on how it is processed and how much of it you eat.
Red meat and white bread.
Because of red meat (cancer) and grease (heart disease).
I eat vegetarian burgers, so it's not a problem for me.
Because it’s unhealthy lol
