Could be any holiday you cook out.
I usually make Ribs on the grill or on a fire , when I am having a BBQ with friends’ and family , mainly because I get a lot of requests for them. My friends’ and family love the way I make ribs and tell me all
The time they never had a better tasting rib. So ribs are usually my Go to , I enjoy cooking a lot of different foods on the grill and fore as well, like chicken and steak , burgers and hot dogs of
Course , as well as sausage , or pork chops etc.. as well as vegetables on the grill and fire as well. But Ribs are the go to because I get the most requests for them
I make these awesome burgers from ground sirloin. I make them extra large and buy bulkie rolls from the local bakery. I toast the bun and when I am feeling ambitious will cook some bacon the add to the burger.
Black Angus sirloin burgers! That's what we had, with Johnsonville brats. I'm definitely a Wisconsin girl now! 😂
@Beckybooboo He only eats American food, like pasta, pizza and tacos. XD
Potato salad has to be at every cookout! I'll usually make it, just to make sure, otherwise I'd go home but I do like to try other people's, because everyone makes it a little different but it's always good!
"Dee, honey, we can't wait to eat your delicious Carbonara."
That's what they keep asking for; that's what they'll get.
Ah, holiday cookouts are a wonderful time to enjoy flavors that bring people together! My "go-to" food for such occasions is grilled seafood, particularly shrimp skewers with a hint of citrus and fresh herbs. The combination of the smoky grill flavor and the juicy, tender shrimp is simply irresistible. It reminds me of a summer in Sicily, where I discovered the simplicity and perfection of seafood on the barbecue, paired with a crisp, refreshing white wine. It's a dish that never fails to delight and bring a touch of coastal magic to any gathering. 🍤🔥

BBQ spare ribs St. Louis style. Slow cooked in a charcoal smoker at 225 deg F with hickory wood chunks. A rub initially then BBQ sauce last 10 minutes or so.
Brats for sure, but I usually do a big mess of food. Chicken and hamburgers and brats and hotdogs…. Have lunch for a few days that way. Just add sides….
@Abbycado what about you?
I forgot to mention ribs, And watermelon!
Yes. A greek sausage a friend of mine prepares at his shop (which I then cook to perfection) and spiced cheeseburgers.
Cheeseburgers, Hot Dogs, Baked Beans, French Fries, The Works! haha
My potato salad seems to be my most often asked for dish for our extended family get togethers.
my go to food for everything is bolognese pasta or chicken and rice
I'm from Wisconsin. You won't find a cookout without brats here 😂
Living alone, yes. Steak or Yellowfin Tuna. Sometimes both.
My homemade beef burgers or my homemade pork burgers, with my homemade potato salad, macaroni salad and cole slaw. Now that pickling cucumbers are in the stores, let's add a few of my homemade pickles.
Deviled eggs 🥚 👿
Yes. One time I did eat 15 of them. No shame. True story.
Falafel combined with Pommes Frites (French fries) and Tartar sauce 😋
Yes but I need to have human contact as I learn 4 years ago. If not around people I slip into depreciation.
