When hangry what’s your go to food?

For me it’s pizza.

If I'm hangry it's usually because of either a large recent calorie deficit or poor carb intake. First I'll start with carbs & then I'll make sure that my calorie intake for the day is at a range that lowers cortisol. Then I'll do other things to reduce stress hormones like have optimal mineral intake, stay in low stress environments, drink enough water, etc.

I find my hunger is based on the level of protein and fat I eat, and not the quantity or calories I consume, if I have high quality protein with fibre, I might be full on just 400 calories but if my food has no protein or fibre, I might eat 3000 calories and still feel hungry one hour later.
