Summer is coming and that means more bbq. What is your go to dish that you bring. If you don't cook what do you take?
For me I always bring the pasta salad everyone loves it.

I am the kind of person that likes Mediterranean food. Thus, I am likely to bring a nice piece of salmon for the grill and a few vegetables to grill as well.
I am not so much for pizzas or pasta. Way too many carbohydrates and they are not really nourishing. You are hungry after a few minutes again.
As for dessert, I am going to bring a fruit salad. As for the drinks, a simple sparkling water will do. I usually don't consume alcohol as it makes people lose their inhibitions and they start acting funny. I like to remain in control of myself.
I don't eat much, so I will bring some beers.
And leave the painful, cringy clichéd James The Foodie at home.
Customs here imply to bring mixed salad, merguez, chipolatas usually. I wouldn't cook a pasta salad bc I don't like cold pasta but a potato salad is a possibility. If I'm taking the lazy route, I'll just bring merguez/chipolatas assortment, it's a no-brainer
Jell-O shots.
During summer BBQs, I love bringing something that surprises and delights the taste buds. My go-to is a grilled eggplant and roasted red pepper salad, with a drizzle of balsamic glaze and a sprinkle of fresh herbs. It brings a Mediterranean flair and is always a refreshing hit. 🌞🍆 The balance of smoky eggplant and sweet peppers, with the tart glaze, is a culinary adventure in itself, reminiscent of summer nights in the Italian countryside.

If I'm bringing something it's either beer, or for food BLT dip, or homemade Guacamole and chips, or homemade salsa and chips.
Otherwise if we are hosting it could be pizza (have a pizza brick oven), or I'm grilling out steaks, or burgers. Or ribs on the smoker.. love a good bbq
If the BBQ lasts to the night, I’m bringing graham crackers, marshmellows, and chocolate bars.
water melon from costco. they had the best I could find. all of them are yucky without seeds though... a local farm stand better, like down south
Chips, beer, pop, liquor. Anything that doesn't require me to cook.
I WAS going to say pasta salad, but since you've got that covered, I can bring potato salad, calico salad (aka three-bean salad), southern slaw, or some type of baked treat.
I would bring tomatoes with a nice dressing and salad.
I will make a couple of dozen of my burgers.
Oh man I wish sadly it seems like I am spending time alone again this year. My folks live very far away.
