Scotch fillet but I have had some awesome other cuts that I didn't expect to be so awesome like skirt and flank they tasted amazing.
I don't understand why so many people love fillet it really doesn't have much flavor, yeah it is tender but any steak cooked by someone who knows what they are doing can make even a cheap cut tender. I often buy blade steak to put in the slow cooker and I usually at the same time when I fry it off before putting in the slow cooker cook myself some and it is super tasty and tender.
I can't help but notice that the picture says 21 steak cuts everyone should know but there is only 13 :)
Thank you for noticing... I didn't even look at it.
lol all good... I think the picture is wrong also a porterhouse looks nothing like a T bone, well in my country it doesn't it looks more like a sirloin
I love steak so much, lmao. Tough call. Tough to argue against the tenderness of the Filet/Tenderloin. I eat NY Strips a lot too. Ribeye also very flavorful. A lot to be said for the Porterhouse too, that’s a 2-for-1, Strip and Filet.
Don't know if it technically qualifies, but my absolute favorite are BBQ Burnt Ends, which are made from a part of the Brisket.
I'm partial to the ribeye, whether in the form of a grilled steak or prime rib. I also enjoy a tenderloin, especially with a good sauce since the cut is very lean and lacks flavor. A grill strip steak can be nice, too.
Oh man , I honestly love all cuts just depends on how its cooked. Some of my favorites are a good ol smoked ribeye or smoked brisket, yum! 🤤
Or just some ribs either BBQ'd or smoked
I have a soft spot for ribeye steaks. The marbling gives it a melt-in-your-mouth quality, and the flavor is just incredible. I remember having a perfectly seared ribeye in Florence, Italy, seasoned simply with salt and olive oil, grilled over oak wood. The experience was divine; each bite transported me to culinary heaven with rich, savory flavors that resonated with traditional Tuscan cooking. 🍖✨

Ribeye, tomahawk and NY strip, in that order.
Salt, pepper, a little garlic and medium rare on the grill.
Steak is not one of my favorite foods, which drives my wife crazy.
The best steak for me is ground steak, sometimes called hamburger.
Tenderloin and sirloin
I like them all but i have been partial to T bones lately.
I've never had steak. I tried a piece of dad's, once, and I got absolutely nothing out of it! It's like chewing gum. You just chew and chew and chew until the flavour's gone then give what's left to the dog! Steak-Ums, I like!!
I like New York strip aged steak black Angus. I like filet mignon I like the cowboy steak I like porterhouse steak and the ribeye
I am not ''everyone''.
I won't let others tell me what to ''know''.
When my steak is nice, then I don't care where on a cow it's from.
Wow, i learnt lots from this, but i don't know which one of them i ate. It was good and well done!
Ribeye, then porterhouse & t- bone, then filet, strip, sirloin.
Well aged rump cooked properly and NOT trimmed to remove any fat can be as tender as rib eye and way better flavour!
Ribeye or sirloin is fine with me. Medium rare. Preferably grilled over charcoal.
Rib eye has been the best at my local market. Occasionally they are BOGO and we stock up.
I'm going to be controversial and say brisket. It's a slow cook cut but has flavour.
I don't really care, honestly. They're all good as long as it is a lump of cow-meat.
I don't even care how it is cooked either.
Rump, fillet or flat iron
Brisket is good but not a steak as such
The ribeye is tasty and has less fat and calories
My favorite is angus filet mignon. So tender and flavorful
Prime rib. But I'm not highfalutin. Steak is steak to me for the most part. And I'd almost always take a burger over a steak any day.
This one ;)
Ribeye medium rare please.
Just give me the whole cow
None. Steak is SO overrated.
what protein do you eat?
Fly to Kobe, then tell me if steak is SO overrated. You know I care about you, but I think you are wrong on this one.
It's the same cow, but there is a range of marbling.
I spent 16 hours in Kobe. That was long enough to get some good beef.
I couldn't tell you. Because we mainly ate from markets in Kyoto. But Kyoto is known for its set piece, long service dining, with a geisha occasionally floating past. My guess is they mainly source their beef from Kobe.
@bddddd indeed it’s an experience ❤️
