What is wrong with this restaurant like seriously worst experience ever?

does this even sound normal? beautiful day here so i decided to stop at this patio bar which is on the water and though it be a fun visit , wrong. despite the nice weather the staff seemed to be in a seriously off mode.

i got there around shift change at 4 pm and the 2 girls who took over my section didn't seem interested in doing much of anything , you would of though they were hanging out before work or on break not actually being paid to be there

like they didn't provide any customer service at all, didn't ask if i wanted another drink or refill of water or anything , my original drink had been served by servers who left when they arrived.

i'm not even joking , these 2 girls stood behind the bar from like 4pm till 4:45 pm when i left and did nothing at all like literally not 1 thing work related. they just stood there and talked to themselves about there boyfriends and other gossip stuff. they didn't clean tables , get ice , stock the beer fridge or anything , think there was 1 or 2 tables with people by the water and maybe the one checked on them once but they did nothing

i just paid my bill which was only $8.50 as i only had 1 drink and left , gave them a 50 cent tip but don't even think they deserved that

like worst customer service ever? they were really hot if nothing else but just being pretty doesn't mean you can get away with doing nothing when your suppose to be working

i think part of the problem might be the "owner " who seems to value hot bodies more than qualified staff who provide exceptional customer service. he's hiring girls who are hot not necessary good at customer service. he has the hottest staff of any restaurant i've been to but customer service has problems and not his top prority

Your list is unfair, how could they know you wanted to order more? The rest is not related to customer service. Probably the supervisor was lenient on the coworker, both just available if customer asks or needs a table.

they didn't provide any customer service at all , i just listed some other jobs i've seen girls do there when not serving such as getting ice or stocking the fridge.

i'm not joking these 2 girls literally did absolutely nothing the entire time i was there , they stood there and talked for 20 plus minutes and never once asked if i needed anything , i would of felt like i was interupting there conversation if i had asked for anything

i'm not sure if the manager was present or not , typically there is a more senior server or manager who works the other section but no one came and checked on them the entire time, but owner has video survelance so he could see what they were doing and pretty obviously there did nothing if there just standing at bar talking , can't possibly be doing anything work related

my glass was empty by the time i left , that is a pretty obvious sign a customer might need or want another drink , they also do a happy hour type special there at 4pm and drinks a lot cheaper , they never even asked if i wanted one

i tried to think really hard and not sure i can recall any restaurant or bar ever where the staff provided such a low level of customer service , the whole experience was so terrible , out of 1-10 would rate it minus 5 it was honestly that bad
