I LOVE them. My wife and I have a Mission fig tree on dwarf stock that we planted years ago. It has a huge crown and produces a bushels, too much for us to consume before they go bad. We give some away to friends. It's a treat when they are in season. Fresh figs are super yummy. I also like sliced, dried figs. And fig preserves are amazing. We have made figgy pudding (cake) with pecans, candied fruit and rum before. I found a brand of fig-habañero jam that is out of this world. I eat it on buttered toast.

Yes but only if they are not from a questionable country. And not traveled the whole world. Thats why I dont eat Mango in Germany. I really like it but because of my principle I eat other fruits I also like. Save environment is always to think and act not only what you want.
