Rarely have I had a good included breakfast. In the US they are mostly horrible -- nothing but carbs, some sort of egg thing but not fresh eggs. We stayed at the Mandeville in London and paid only a few pounds a day for full English breakfast and it was wonderful. Omelettes cooked to order, fresh rolls, croissants, English breakfast beans (like American baked beans without the sugar), butter, jam, bacon, sausage...

It doesn't matter. If im on holiday, i'll prefer waking up around 11 or 12. That would mean even if breakfast is included, i'd end up quite often missing it. Its a plus. I mean if i happen to be up and am hungry, i'll go. But even if its not included, its not a dealbreaker for me.

When I stay in a hotel I probably will want to get going once I get up, so I do not want to go looking for a restaurant. So breakfast included.
