When I was in a relationship my ex woke up early to bring me breakfast in bed. Those were magical days.  In future I’d prefer my next partner to do the same from time to time.

It depends on my mood:

If I feel like I had been inside ALL day, and desperate for fresh air, I’d either go with an EARLY, quiet breakfast or a pleasant, ambient brunch.
If I just wanted to rest and not be rushed, I’d have breakfast in bed with my s/o

I personally hate the idea of eating in bed. Only time I've eaten in bed was when I've been in hospital and that's what I associate eating breakfast in bed with. I would rather a nice breakfast on the lounge, binge watching a show my partner and I enjoy over ether in bed or out, if I had to choose between those two only I'd go for out.

I absolutely love going out of eat but breakfast in bed with my girl is some kind of special. And I don’t think it has to be a thing where there is “dessert” after. Just a nice thing to enjoy breakfast a little more intimately.

Always nice to get out of bed, get ready. Dress nicely. Then go to a nice restaurant.

Breakfast in bed always sounds nice. Looks even better in movies. It doesn’t seem comfortable sitting in bed to eat. A cup of tea in bed from time to time is nice which my honey does bring me and we just chit chat/pillow talk with good laughs on some weekends.

Since I don’t allow food in bedrooms, I too must be a role model for my kids.

When I wake up, usually my brain and stomach are still sleeping, so my thinking process happens as "fast" as that of a Pentium 333 MHz and if I eat anything immediately after waking up, I'll either have instant stomach ache (best case scenario), or I'll simply throw it back up (worst case scenario).

So breakfast in bed is out of the question. My stomach needs about half an hour to start working properly.

The idea of breakfast in bed is romantic, but... it's totally impractical. Between finding a comfortable sitting angle to eat and making sure food doesn't get on the sheets, the magic of it doesn't last long!

Women actually don't give a fuck about men's cooking, cook for them and they will see you as less manly and leave you for guys who can't cook. Most women prefer cooking food and taking care of guys like in conventional relationships. Guys are expected to earn and be strong, so it's better to take her out to brunch.
