1 yI rarely stay at hotels when I travel. Either we rented a house and therefore have to cook ourselves, or we go out to eat breakfast. Only a handful of times have to had hotel breakfast and usually it’s because we are in transit very early morning for somewhere else.
If it’s an option available, it’ll be good. Helps to keep costs low and besides, who doesn’t like free? It’s not gonna be anything fancy but I’m sure it’ll be good enough

1 yDepends on the vacation but I like to do sports activities when on vacation like swimming so an early buffet breakfast is always preferred.

Oh, you've hit a sweet spot talking about hotel breakfast buffets! Being a flavor hunter myself, I never miss the chance to dive into that morning spread. It's like being on a mini culinary adventure before the day even starts! Sampling local and international dishes, you get a taste of the region's cuisine—it's a foodie's dream. Plus, as someone who loves both Italian and Japanese cuisines, it's always exciting to see if they feature dishes from these favorites. I mean, who would want to sleep in and miss out on unlimited food, right? 🍳🥐🍣 So yeah, I am all for setting that alarm a bit early and making the most of the breakfast buffet. It's the best way to start the day on a delicious note!

1 yUsually, I'm too high on cocaine and trying to figure out where to hide the dead prostitute's body because I probably fucked her to death.

You see that movie "No Country for Old Men" and that scene where he hid the drug money in the air vent? That's where I put the body.

She's not there anymore though... because she woke up and was just drugged up. I helped her out and then we had more passionate love-making activities.

We totally didn't do that again at a child's birthday party... trust me... because I have no proof.

1 yI don't usually stay at hotels. I typically do VRBO vacation rentals for vacations because we found having a full kitchen was cheaper than or comparable to eating out for most of our meals, and much healthier than eating junk food. I pack a cooler and dry goods to bring and then do one dinner out and one pizza night as a treat, depending on how long we stay.
I like the Home 2 Suites by Hilton, though. They have rooms set up for extended stays with a larger fridge, kitchen sink, microwave and dishwasher. It's fairly affordable mid-week and during the shoulder/off seasons. I've stayed for as low as $120/night and it has a nice breakfast with healthier options. And yes, we have gotten up the few times we've stayed there. When I stayed in very cheap hotels years ago, though, I didn't bother. It can be really yucky.

makes sense
The Free breakfast is usually available quite late. I am there either because I am travelling, or I am at a destination attraction, like Disney. In either case, it would be stupid to waste away the time sleeping. So we get up at a decent time, have breakfast, then continue our travel or enjoy our vacation.
00 Reply386 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. Well , its not actually " free " , its just included , so difficult for me because I practise intermittent fasting , but assuming its a Buffet , I like to include it in the latter part , so because normally I will never eat before 2pm , but I can do it , if breakfast is extended till 11 am , I can just make it work..
But , lets says its here in Thailand , I go for breakfast excluded , because many options outside and never a reason to overeat.

1 yI do breakfast for sure. I'm usually in hotels when I travel for work majority of time. So can't sleep in as long as I would like but I must say I enjoy the breakfast palette.
10 Reply 518 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. I usually get to the free breakfast the last ten minutes it runs. I hate having to pay for breakfast since I usually don't eat much - if I am at a place that doesn't have breakfast I just pick up a bagel with cream cheese and OJ the night before - money spent on breakfast is wasted money.

1 yI always wake up around 5.30 a. m :)
Depending on the nature of the breakfast buffet offered, I'll rush for it, or just have a coffee on the (hopefully present) balcony.
But in general I'm not a big fan of hotels.

1 yI go for the breakfast unless I sleep in longer. I rarely use an alarm when I'm at a hotel. When I wake up, I get up. Most of the time, that's still time to get breakfast.
00 Reply It takes less than ten minutes to have that type of breakfast of sitting down which is not a lot. I have swung by many times just for coffee, banana and a couple of power bars for the road and simply left and had it in the car.
