It's extremely common in the UK, and we even have our own version of Mallomars.
You truly do LEARN something NEW EVERYDAY!! TY!
@DrPepper12 Thank you for the MHO!
@DrPepper12 Thank you for the SO!
Did that in Southern California all the time. Not usually the bbq flavor. I never developed a taste for them till much later in life. Today I'll put some fries on my hamburger occasionally.
My son puts potato chips in his sandwich, my daughter used apple sauce as a condiment.
Apple sauce for ribs, chops or veggies? That's normals
I never have but my mom puts potato chips on ham sandwiches.
That woman knows the score!! ❤️
Adding chips to cold cuts sandwiches is a delightfully crunchy twist, not just limited to New York. It elevates a simple sandwich by adding layers of texture and flavor, especially when using BBQ-flavored chips. It's like discovering a mini culinary surprise with each bite. During my adventurous culinary explorations, I've tried it a few times, and the contrast between the cold, savory sandwich and the crispy, tangy chips is sensational! 🍽️ 🥪

There's times when you Americans never cease to amaze me! lol
@Makeushiver
Well that's extremely comforting to know, and thank you for easing my mind. lol
Don't let your mind get too eased. The U. S. still elected someone who isn't capable of managing a bake sale. Sometimes the U. S, shows an amazing ingenuity, sometimes it shows an ignorance of history that is mind boggling.
thnx
I’ve never tried this or heard of it but it sounds good.
With the right authentic NY dell & Boars head™ brand meats, cheeses & condiments it's a slice of heaven!!
No but I’ve heard of French fries being added to a sandwich or burger
Guilty. Onion rings too.
Yeah I need rings. I could see.
A class sandwich for me when I was in my teens was ready salted chips with marmite and cheese.
Not on cold cuts but on tuna sandwiches yes chips are great.
I've been to some places that put fries and things on sandwiches but I've never added things like that at home.
I’m from New York, never did that.
Only thing close was eating french fries and birthday cake which actually tasted good (not recommending this)
No
I only eat actual food.
Thought that was a British thing
It’s becoming more popular
Nope, never have.
HP brown sauce.
