Why is nightlife all about drinking when it's bad for you & it tastes nasty. Why are guys handsy when they get some alcohol in their system?

So I work nightshift, but I left around 1. I didn't eat dinner, so I started searching places and restaurants that stay open late, like till 2am.
I went to the 1st restaurants & it was packed with just people dancing and drinking. I decided to try another 2 restaurants and they said the bar's open, no food.
I accidentally bump into a guy leaving and got groped quickly while he had a drink in his hand and
vocalized his reaction
I tried 1 more place & they said no.
Do they have a section on the web, to tell you what time the kitchen closes?
I gave up
I didn't like the experience
