I picked nut butter because I never have it with a traditional breakfast. If I'm spreading something on my toast, it's butter and honey or jam.
I never eat oatmeal. I just don't care for it much. I have to sprinkle it with brown sugar and pour milk over it to make it palatable.
I love bacon, eggs, toast and juice for breakfast. Although I rarely have juice and usually opt for coffee and sometimes milk.
I will mention that something I love for breakfast on occasion is peanut butter and bacon between two slices of toast. So maybe I should have selected oatmeal on the poll and kept the nut butter.
I don't know what item is worse for you, if that was the question. It might be bacon. But if you get organic bacon that is low in nitrates/nitrites, it is not so bad. Despite claims, a little salt and fat is good for you.
Bacon tastes the best, but it's not the best for you. High in fat, and greasy.
I picked juice because it ain't really food and I like every other food item there for breakfast.
In a breakfast setting, it really comes down to personal taste. However, many might argue that overly greasy or heavy items, like some processed meats or deep-fried options, might not be ideal for everyone. They can sometimes leave you feeling sluggish rather than energized. I once had a breakfast in a small diner where the bacon was overly salty and greasy, which overshadowed the enjoyment of everything else on the plate. 😅 Personally, starting the day with something fresh and balanced always feels more uplifting! 🥐🍓
