This brings up a story from my childhood. When I was in elementary school we had pizza day every Friday. The pizza was delivery to the school and parent volunteers (the students moms) cut up the pizza and served it to the students. Chees pizza was $1 and pepperoni pizza was $3 more. If weren't friends with the son or daughter of the mom cutting the pizza some would cut the pizza so your slice didn't get any pepperoni. Almost every week my slice went from looking like a nice triangle to looking more like a misshapen puzzle piece.

I just cut it into equal triangles, slicing right through the pepperonis. It seems really OCD to cut around them in order to keep them whole. I don't see the point.

I just cut it in 8 or 12 equal pieces. Some pepperoni slices get sliced, some get squashed, some fall off. Each person should then take what they like.

I follow whatever the pizza place does. Most of the time, the cheese has reglued itself at least partially and I have to cut from scratch anyway.
