According to this map I found cocktails are the most popular alcohol drink here in Wales. Another one shows that the Blue Lagoon is the most popular.

Cocktails are a great way of getting your five-a-day or getting your kids to up their fruit intake. So what's the most popular cocktail where you live and what's your favourite.

Vodka Red-Bull coudl be considered as a long drink or cocktail if decorated with some cherries in toothpick umbrella. Taurin and caffeine from Redbull brings you high and vodka down.
Recently I tried often absinthe drinks. Absinthe tastes good while mixed with 1 to 3 with Champagne. Wormwood contains Absinthine that is slightly toxic and causes slight nervousness in lower doses, similar to caffeine but ethanol levels it down.
Girls I hang around at weekends prefer those sweet fruity girly cocktails in exclusive bars like Sex on the beach, Daiquiri or Whirpool. I order something with rum if vodka redbull is too inelegant, Caipirinha or Cuba Libre mostly.

Don't know the source of the chart but I'm calling random bullshit here. No one in Connecticut drinks Long Island Iced Tea. Maybe 30 years ago, LOL. It's all pretty run of the mill stuff that I see people drinking when I go out. I can't even get a Harvey Wallbanger around here for craps sake.

Whiskey - neat, Old Fashioned, or Manhattans, Whiskey Sours.

Gin - Gin and Tonic, or Martinis.

Vodka - Espresso Martinis, Vodka and fruit juice of some sort, maybe a Mojito

Tequila - Margaritas, Tequila and Soda.

I'm also laughing at Mojitos and Pina Coladas being #1 in the Eastern UK. If that's true, I certainly didn't see that coming. I was thinking Whiskey Sours.

I do like (some) cocktails. The one I order most often is a mai tai.
I don't like carbonated stuff or things that are too citrusy or sour. I don't care for vodka or whiskey flavors.
So, I'll take most anything made with rum, gin or tequila and fruit juice.
Piña coladas are good and so are fruit flavored margaritas.
I don't know the names of a lot of cocktails. Sometimes I try something different off of a menu.

I have a couple i like, but only occasionally. I’ll sometimes start my day drinking with a Bloody Maria. Other times i wrap up a savory meal with an Old Fashioned.
I like a shot called “Snakebite” that includes Yukon Jack liqueur and lime juice. The definition of “cocktail” gets a little fuzzy to me when you make a mixed drink into a shot. If i’m drinking snakebites, i don’t care about much anymore. I’m usually angling toward ruining somebody’s night; often my own. Ell oh ell!

I do love cocktails but they're so expensive for a very small drink that tastes so good it's gone in a minute that it's just not feasible to really have lots on a night out.
