What is your favorite chain restaurant and why do you like it?

I really like the cheesecake factory. The bread and butter are really good, and ALL of the entrees are made from scratch. How many chain restaurants have that level of preparation? Plus of course the CC, which ironically is the one thing shipped in and made elsewhere (but still by CCF bakeries)

Sorry but I avoid chain restaurants like the plague. The menus are straight from a corporate committee and the "Chef" is an 18 year old kid hired two weeks ago to follow instructions laid out by food engineers... the top 3 ingredients are fat, salt, and sugar.

I've rather give my money to a family owned Italian, Chinese, Indian, Greek, Thai, Japanese, Arab, or good ol American BBQ joint and people who live in my community rather than investors.

There is a local chain called The 99. The name comes from the fact that the first one was located at 99 High St. in Boston. They have good burgers and seafood. They make a good Prime Rib as well.

Lmao yeah made from scratch and frozen like 3 days in advance. Any strong chain restaurant does that to a certain degree, I always preferred Zaxby’s if only for the dipping sauce.

My favorite chain is Din Tai Fung 😋
Their xiaolongbao are consistently delicate, with thin skins and rich, balanced broth, even across locations worldwide. I love how they treat a chain like a craft workshop: precise folding, consistent steaming, clean flavors.

It reminds me of wandering Taipei night markets, but in a polished, predictable setting. Hard to beat that combo of comfort and technical perfection 🥟✨
