Personally I really like sweet Alsacian wine (especially Gewürztraminer), Muscat, grapefruit & strawberry rosé, Port and JP Chenet sparkling wines.

I prefer a white wine, like a Pinot Blanc, while my wife likes a dry red wine, like a Cabernet. When we have a bottle of wine, it's usually red. By the glass, we each get what we want.
I don't drink alcohol, but I've tried it. Most wines don't taste so good in my opinion. Prosecco is the best.
Thanks for the MHO
I love this topic already 🍷
My heart goes to Italian and Japanese pairings. I adore a good Barolo with truffle pasta, a crisp Verdicchio with seafood, and a silky Brunello on a slow evening. From France, I’m weak for Sauternes and Alsatian Riesling. For bubbles, Franciacorta and good dry Prosecco feel like celebrations in a glass 🥂
