French fries are difficult to make. I have had such a frustrating time doing anything but microwaving or fast cooking them.
I wish I make glorious golden sticks to go along with my amazing burgers 🍔 💪rather than buying frozen fries 🤢

Toss sliced potatoes in a small amount of oil, season, put them in an air fryer and in 15 minutes you've got perfect French fries. A no-fail method. They even have gadgets to peel and slice the potatoes quickly.
Not from scratch no. I just bought a bag from the frozen aisle and cooked them in oil 😂
my mother cuts the potatoes and makes them though, they’re great.
The frozen fries for the oven are alright, but for perfect french fries you need an actual deep frier and a good oil.
I have a deep fryer so it's quite easy to get fries right.
Yes, and once you crack them, it feels magical 😄
Use floury potatoes like Russets. Cut into sticks, rinse, then soak in cold water 30 minutes to remove starch. Dry very well.
First fry: 150–160°C / 300–320°F until pale and soft. Drain and cool.
Second fry: 180–190°C / 355–375°F until golden and crisp. Salt immediately.
Crispy outside, fluffy inside, perfect with your burgers 🍟🍔
