Call it a food crime all you want, it tastes great

I get you 😄
If it tastes good to you, it’s never a crime in your own kitchen.

I’ve had pizza in Naples where even asking for ketchup felt illegal, but I’ve also tried wild street-food versions topped with mayo, chili sauce, even teriyaki. Ketchup on a simple cheese or pepperoni slice can add a sweet-tangy kick.

Your slice, your rules 🍕✨

Traditional pizzas have sweet tomato sauce already. More isn't always better

Like Pineapple On Pizza I always tell people don’t knock it until you try it. I have never had ketchup on pizza & if I did I would order a Hot Dog Pizza or a Cheeseburger Pizza.

Subconsciously, I associate ketchup with a culture and life style that I refuse to participate in. To eat is not only filling your belly - it also fills our ''self''.
Also: ketchup has a tendency to make dishes repetitive and monotonous. Specifically on pizza it distracts from the overall experience. So if one must use ketchup, then better without anything else.

I don't care for ketchup in general so... Frank's Red Hot (the original buffalo chicken) sauce is good... alfredo sauce can be good, pineapples are AWEsome. It's all about the combinations though.

No! And ketchup belongs nowhere near eggs as well.

Usually fried eggs with the yolks broken. It's just easy and fast. but my favorite is eggs benedict with poached eggs and runny yolks.

It tastes great to you, perhaps. I consider it only a Class 1 food misdemeanor.

Well, it can't make most pizzas taste any worse, so why not?

It's not the individual ingredients, it's the combinations.

I'm not saying that someone who puts mustard on vanilla ice cream should get the death penalty.
But they should be sentenced to community service and have to go in front of children and explain what they did wrong.

I don’t really like that. I don’t use ketchup much either, it makes everything you put it on taste like ketchup. But somehow it works on pizza
