It's one of my gotos! I eat maybe every 2-3 days. I'm not a big fan of soy and think soy protein is bullshit with the lack of critical BCAAs like leucine, but in fermented form, it's loaded with micros. That said, definitely an acquired taste, smell, and maybe even texture. I like to twirl chopsticks around in the area like a ninja when I open one. I overdo it. Better to overdo than underdo and find your face sticking to something that feels like a spiderweb.
I'm a man conviction, I do value certainty as well...
so, I would at least try it first, a bit... then I would be able to categorically that I definitely don't like that thing...
Please put a raw egg and soy sauce into it. That's not even "softcore". But it's tastier for people who don't like natto yet.
@GuyAnswersGirls123 add some salmonella too... why not
Ugh, I forgot about that. In Japan, eggs are treated (I think pasteurized and stuff) to be incredibly unlikely to cause salmonella. This is crap article I pulled up but you can find more about it:

But we eat raw eggs on a daily basis here and the eggs are treated in a way to reduce those risks substantially. Sometimes I just crack an egg and drink from the shell.
That looks like hamburger helper the American version. I need to know exactly how it’s made before. I will try it and it’s gotta be 100% beef. None of this stuff of kidneys liver brains pork mixed in it.
Of course. It's Japanese.

Natto 😄 And yes, I’d absolutely eat it.
The first time I tried natto in Tokyo, the smell and those sticky strings nearly scared me off. But mixed with hot rice, soy sauce, mustard, and some green onions, it became earthy, nutty, and comforting.
It’s funky, intense, and not for everyone, but if you get past the look, it can be strangely addictive.
