When you buy a Christmas turkey, it comes with the giblets stuffed inside. Sometimes they're loose but usually they come encased in a plastic bag. Hopefully you remembered to remove it before roasting.

But what do you normally do with the giblets?

Bread sauce is milk thickened with bread crumbs. It's commonly served as an accompaniment to Christmas dinner. But do you like it?

If you have a traditional Christmas pudding what do you normally serve it with?

If I said, "mince pie" in the summer you'd think of a pie filled with minced beef and gravy. But come December thoughts turn to sweet ones made of dried fruit.

It gets confusing and mistakes can lead to disappointment. But not to worry because here in Wales we've long solved the problem with the "Pastai Penfro" a delicious pie made from minced mutton and dried fruit allowing you to savour the delights of both worlds.
