My family is from the Philippines and siquojor island
Most my cousins want to get married by 25 yo AND want an American man coz of the money.
Most the girls in the village are married at 16-19 and get prego fast.
If you marry a Filipino man, after a few babies the girl gets fat and hubby finds a 14-16 yo mistress coz wife is only for babies and housekeeper

I don't know. I feel like I combine the worst of those traits. I was born in the East but without the beauty. I wasn't taught how to take care of myself. In the West I'm seen as sheltered, naive and childlike. I want some kind of resolution
