Why is it so hard to believe that women can be happy single? Not all women is this dishonest. When I ask anybody about how I look, I am not looking for anybodies validation on my physical appearance. But wither or not the outfit fits or the makeup doesn't work. And unlike most women, I don't need to spend an hour doing makeup or getting dressed. I get a quick wash, put on an outfit and get out the house.

2ndly its rude to assume all people with mental illnesses are HAPPY single. That right there is very offensive to everybody who is suffering psychological problems of any kind. Stop assuming. There are plenty of them that want a relationship, but can't because of their cognitive issues. Or because others don't want to risk it with them or give it a chance. Know what the hell your talking about before you speak.

" single man = " pathetic , undateable , basement dweller" .. etc. Women have 2 key advantages over men , ultra close female friendships & large support networks , men do not have these & also women , on average , can happily be celibate. So I agree with your comment.

Of course, it's for men too. However, I was sticking primarily on topic of this myTake. But the thing with female friendships is a misconception. A lot of us don't have close female friends in that kind of way. And it's very hard for us to make new ones. That includes a support network. Once we lose family, friends, or people who can help. We're usually on our own believe it or not.

Really... very interesting. I think as we age it's a lot tougher for us to make new friends. We need to be more proactive in making new connections, both men and women. I've joined a few clubs and take Krav Maga & kickboxing; by expanding our interests and hobbies we can connect with each other in other ways. There is more to life than just sex.

1- no, I hate that. I'm asking because I need to know if something looks OK. Because men do that, I can't trust my boyfriends word (plus the fact he thinks I look good with messy hair haha) so need to send pics to a friend for second opinions.
