Chick flicks are some of the most underrated movies out there, and because they are targeted to women sometimes guys can miss out on a great movie.

Why don't guys like chick flicks?

A good chick flick can make you laugh or cry, but a great chick flick will make you do both. And the romance doesn't hurt either.

Watched pitch perfect its very funny and aslo i actually have the special edition of love actually (i was going through a kiera knightely phaze i was a lot younger then) and i think rowan atkinson is funny as heck

I hate chick flicks. Guys, you aren't missing out at all. The plot you can guess by looking at the DVD box and the storyline so fucking cliche it makes me want to vomit.

I was unfortunate enough to watch Confessions of a shopaholic once... all I kept thinking was How is Sasha Baron Cohen married to this lady?

"Love & Basketball" is the perfect chick flick ( and a guy can like it too because the love interest is not one dimensional). The movie goes through her 1st kiss, losing virginity, college & being challenged as a female athlete.

And "Definitely, Maybe", " About Last Night"(there's a 2000s remake), The Proposal & most recent "Beyond the Lights"

I've seen Definitely, Maybe. It's so underrated.

I haven't seen Love & Basketball but I know a lot of people love it.

I watched mean girl, ps I love you, love actually, 50first dates. And out of them ps I love you made me cry a bit, love actually is nice, 50 first date was fun, not a fan to mean girls but nice kitty acts or when I feel like watching chick's (without audio) then I see it. I will give try to rest of the movies too.

I honestly hate chick flicks. Growing up they gave me such unrealistic expectations of men. I grew and realized men are kinda far from the Prince Charmings they're portrayed in movies

I find they have a nice blend of everything... like the drama, the romance, the storyline... pretty clever stuff!

"Legends of the Fall" with Brad Pitt is one of my all time favs! Love that era of story and he did an exceptional job!
