Why does my coworker touch me all of the time?

She has been dating someone on and off for a so time now but keeps touching me. She is in her mid 20's and I'm 20 almost 21? She rubs my back and winks at me and one time pinched my nipple. When I'm in her way she hip checks me instead of asking me to move. Today she snuck behind me and poked me in the back with her fingernails repeatedly for like 5 seconds. She told as she rubbed my back that she was going make kick like a dog and asked if I would like that. Its really creepy and im actually like another girl who I'm sort of dating on the down low who really can't say anything about it cause we dont want people to know especially our coworkers.

I think she's trying to get your attention and messing around with you. If you don't like her just tell her that you have a girlfriend please keep a distance. You don't have to tell her who that "girlfriend" is though. If people you don't like touch you you can always tell them to stop with a serious face (:

I can't yours is anonymous. Ya I reacted yelled at her today when she was demonstrating what a guy did to her at her table and she touched my arm and was about and moved in to about an inch from kissing me to "demonstrate" what he was about to do.

Could you file a complaint to your job?
If this scenario was reversed and it was a man doing that to a woman, she likely would have filed a complaint to her job about harassment by now (which is what this woman is doing to you). So try doing that to see if it will get your coworker in check.

I work in a restaurant so terrible to say most of the people who work there sleep with each other and their are bigger issues than this such as drug dealing and the head chef being a raging alcholoic. I'm one of few people that don't smoke or drink and avoid the drama.

Oh, okay. Well then try to be totally no-nonsense with her. When she does something inappropriate, a simple " Let's both be adults here and keep things on a business level. Got it?" may do. If it continues you may have to be more abrupt and tell her clearly that what is doing could be considered harassment and it better cease. Subtle hints don't always work with the persistent.

I feel like in general men refuse to show weakness let alone admit harassment cause that term never came to mind.

Yes, it's sad. The definition of harassment is to annoy or bother (someone) in a constant or repeated way. Bother continually, pester. That definitely is what she is doing to you. Just because she's a female doesn't make it any less of harassment than what it is. Constantly touching you, even pinching your nipple? I mean like, really? That lady is ridiculous, and like I said, if a man was doing this to a woman it would be an outrage and taken more seriously by society as a whole.

I took the plates form her table today and she smacked my ass as I turned away I looked back and could not think of anything to say so I just turned around gave her a death stare. She laughed after it and it was right I front of a customer so I was slightly embarrassed.

It's simple. If you are feeling very annoyed or bothered by her actions then she is harassing you and you should put a stop to it.
