I work a second job for a catering business often in a cramped kitchen, a coworker, attractive short redhead always touches my back when she passes behind me. I get that it’s partly so I don’t back into her by mistake. She uses her full palm and touches me right by my neck, it feels so amazing and I love when she does it. Is this casual flirting or would she be into me?

I honestly don’t know how I feel about this woman and I don’t usually date coworkers. It’s hard to decipher human behaviour sometimes. I guess I just wanted to know what other people would think or do in my place.

I know the general rule about not dating coworkers and I don’t disagree, but at your age, if you don’t use online dating, what good opportunities do you have to meet potential dating partners? And this doesn’t sound like a job that you would want to stay at for the next 25 years.

Could it be casual flirting, yes. But it could also just be because, as you said, you're working in a cramped kitchen. It could be her way of saying, 'behind' or 'coming through' or something else. It's probably best to ask in my opinion.

Honestly I hope she continues to do it, I have a girlfriend and have no intentions of going further with her. The way she touches feels crazy good for whatever reason
