Should I stop inviting her to hang out?

One of my friends has some similar interests to me. So I'll invite her to come hang out pretty often. These are not at all dates because they'd be in large groups and with other friends. I'd invite her to play soccer with us since she's a soccer player too, to parties that are open-invite, or to the local fair with a bunch of other friends. Sometimes she'll reply that she can't go or to let her know the next time we go/play, but most of the time she just won't respond at all. Should I just stop inviting her? I was only inviting her as a friend.

So, I don't get why you would stop if your only inviting her as a "friend"... especially if you know it's something you think she'll be interested in.
If she can't attend each function you invite her to than that's ok she can have things she has going on, it not necessarily meaning that she's not being a friend. As her friend you should understand and be cool about it... she's still friend material I don't think that's highly worth writing her off... unless, ... unless you thinking that maybe you wanna be a bit more than friends hehehehe. . and she's not picking up on that , now I can see the frustration in that!:)

stop inviting her. My thing is, is someone is really interested THEY are going to put in a bit of effort too if they really want to go out. Sometimes people don;t know how to say no. instead they say they are busy, or let them know the next time.

I would continue to invite her just to be nice. Who knows? She may show up one day, thankful that you never gave up on her! :D
