Why was this young girl staring at me in church?

She is younger than me cause a family friends daughter was with her and she was a freshmen in hs. I'm a sophomore in college and I dont look young i have a beard so I don't have a baby face but she kept looking back at me during church and smiling. I was so embarrassed cause I'm 5 years older than her. I left church quickly to avoid any awkward approach. This happens to me all of the time theses group of 5 girls stare at me and I feel akward.

At the church picnic which was even worse then the service tbh the girls actually started talking to me and flirting with me. They touched me and would scratch my back. I was so annoyed and emberassed.

It's normal for girls to be attracted to older guys at around that age partly because girls mature earlier/quicker than boys and partly because an older guy makes them feel more protected. Don't worry about it, it is just a phase and it should pass pretty quickly.

Like for example one of my coworkers is in hs and her teacher who was very attractive noticed me and gave me her number. She is 26 and honestly I wouldn't hesitate dating her if I didn't go back to college in a month.

Honestly your best bet is to just be yourself, be pleasant but ignore unwanted attention, don't worry too much about age (obviously 15 is too young) and hopefully you'll find someone who you click with.

Ya I know I actually spent a year chasing one girl and that could not have turned out worse so im letting it come to me now it seems when I'm my outgoing self it works better than being really nice a and gentle. I'll be fine.
