How long should I wait for a call/text after giving a girl my number?

I'm sorry but u did a wrong part by giving the girl your number it shows submissiveness, if i were u i would take the girl's number instead because it shows dominance and confidence. Therefore, if she doesn't really interested at u chance is you shouldn't wait for her call/text.

You don't wait. If you're not exclusive with anyone then you're allowed to date more than one person at a time as long as you don't lie about it. If she ends up calling then awesome. If not then you haven't wasted any time.

Like I said, "as long as you don't lie about it." It's not stringing someone along unless you know as you date them that you'll never actually become exclusive. Lots of people (men and women) explore their options until they find someone they want to be exclusive with. But if you're really only open to this one girl, then I'd say wait a week, then move on and if she contacts you after that just be pleasantly surprised.

To be honest that came across as a bit desperate to me. If you know her dad well enough to give her a note through him, why not just ask for her number through him? Email? Something? So that you could do the initiating.

ok well at least she had something to read. if she's into you she will call/text fosho but it will take some time, maybe 1-3 days. depends on the girl but she will have to call/text you no matter what if she wants to see you because she only has your number haha.

Hmm well if I recieved a note (and did all the signs you told me about) I would open the note (if my father had given it to me, which I am sure he did), be a bit surprised and if I was busy, do it in a couple of days. If not, I would plan what to say and call him later that day or the next.
