What does it mean when a girl asks a guy to buy her a drink?
If she doesn't like the guy, then she has simply spotted a mark, so the guy should refuse her. (My sister used to brag about all the free drinks she would get from pathetic men.) If she does like the guy, then she has a self-entitled attitude, so the guy should refuse her. In either case, she should be told to fuck off.

The last time a woman asked for a drink i told her 'No.'
She said 'That's not very gentlemanly of you.'
I said 'It's not very ladylike to ask for one.'
I proceeded to walk off. My advice is don't ask and you will get one if your someone i enjoy talking to. I don't need to buy women.
Idk, but it sounds a little selfish to me. It sounds like she's just trying to get a free drink, because she thinks she's hot enough to get away with it. A little presumptuous and unattractive if you ask me...
If I like a guy, I'd either buy a drink for a him or just start some small talk.

I think there was a time when a woman asked a man to buy a drink it was because she was interested in him and striking up a conversation
my experience in college has taught me that more women ask for drinks nowadays because they know guys are often willing to buy a drink hoping that it will lead to something. so most women essentially do so because they know they can get a free drink -

Not necessarily, she may be just opportunistic, however she sends the signal "play you cards right, and I will be yours" - of cause she may not meant it, but that is the way it is received.
