My girlfriend's best friend wants to come to vacation with us.

Ok here's the story: My girlfriend is coming to my country this summer for 10 days since we have been apart since the beginning of the summer. After her best friend (with who she lives together, have grown up together and are currently together and see each other every day) heard about this she told to her friend that she wanted to come with us. She has mentioned this before when I told her that maybe Girlfriend will come to be with me and my friends this summer but I never actually thought she was serious about it.

I like my girlfriend's best friend, I like her a lot to party together and stuff but the problem is that if she comes to my country I will have to translate for her since she doesn't speak any mutual language with my friends. I am gonna have to sort of entertain her.

Maybe I sound a little bit like a jerk but I was really looking forward for those 10 days to be just with my girlfriend and introduce her to my friends.

My girlfriend told me that she has already bought the ticket and she's definately coming and her friend asked her to talk to me if its ok if she comes..

Is there any way I can tell that I don't want her best friend to come with us and don't look like a jerk in front of my Girlfriend or her best friend? I like them both a lot but I do want to be just with my girlfriend for many reasons some of which are that I don't want to be a translator for her best friend and I want to have some privacy with my girlfriend..

You should simply explain to your girlfriend that you want the 10 days to be just you and her.

Apologise for being selfish and wanting her all to yourself, but you've missed her and she's too wonderful to share. Ask her if you could arrange something for another time with her and her friend.

If it doesn't work just be open and honest with your girlfriend.

If your girlfriend gets annoyed but visits anyway, make sure you're doing lots of romantic things so hopefully she can see that two's company and three's a crowd.

Anyways, I think I'm gonna have to tella little lie and get out of the situation..

Since we booked our room 2-3 weeks ago. My Girlfriend asked me to see if there are any other rooms left for her friend if she's coming.. Maybe I should just tell that there aren't in such a short notice.. which most probably might be true..

Just tell her no! And if she ever checks up on that lie about the rooms, and they have rooms, then you're in trouble. If you're going to lie, make it a life you can turn into a truth. Say that you have all these romantic things for the two of you to do, and you don't want her there. Seriously, just tell her. What's the worst that will happen if you tell her you don't want her friend there because you want it to be just the two of you?

I think just camly explaning that you want to be alone and her friend will understand and perhaps you could hire a translator or someone who speaks the same language to entertain her. I'm not sure. Just ask for alone time in a nice way and you'll surely earn it!

well that's the problem that she's not talking directly to me so that I can explain that I'd like some private time with my Girlfriend but directlly to my girlfriend which puts me into a difficult situation.. And besides I'm not sure how is she going to have fun in a country where she doesn't understand anything or knows anyone.. then she will be with us 24/7 which is not an option.. I mean they are aways together and they live togehter.. I want her friend for 10 days just for myself.. is

Can you get one of your friend to help you entertain your girlfriend's friend while they are visiting? I think your girlfriend will appreciate it very much if you allow her best friend to come along. You just have to recruit someone to entertain you girlfriend's best friend when you want to be alone with ypur girl. So, you will owe your friend big but I bet you it's worth it.

yea that was my first idea but unfortunately all my friends speak my language (which she doesn't) or english (which she doesn't as well).. There fore I can't ask a friend of mine to be with a girl with who he can't say even a word...it would be strange..

From my experience, that is not necessarily to be true. I remember entertaining an American girl who could not understand a lick of Romanian and we had fun. We figured out several sign language between us and I spoke for her most of the time. It was kinda fun, actually, having this girl in tow who is absolutely foreign to the environment she was in. After all, it is not like you and your girlfriend intend on leave this best friends of your girlfriend alone the whole time, do you?
