One girl took my friends phone and was texting me pretending to be him and told me a lot of heartbreaking stuff. She also read our convo and saw all the messages about what her and her bf did together.

I'm going to open up the bottle of honesty right now. Back in high school and middle school I was a real bitch about rejecting guys. In my defense, I had a lot of stuff going on and so I had this hatred towards anyone who would ask me out (my behavior still wasn't right though). So I would coldly tell them no, sometimes say I hated them, rip up their number in front of them and I completely regret my decisions. I've run into a couple of these people and I just want to apologize but I don't think they remember. I'm typically a quiet person too so I think it came to a shock to the people who did ask me out. I always hold regret towards those people and even have dreams that remind me of it. Now, I've gotten over the bad things in the past and I realized that I lashed out way too much on people who were nice and just wanting to get to know me.

Yeah, I had a lot of trust issues and towards the end of high school through the start of college I went through depression and had to take anti-depressants. I'm finally better but I still can't properly make friends because I have a hard time opening up with people.

What I did was wrong and I really regret it. So to answer your question in a short manner, yes they regret it, or at least I did.

I never reject guys coldly, being too nice has gotten me into some uncomfortable situations but I am always mindful of a person's feelings. Sometimes I'll feel bad if a person seemed to have their hopes up but at the end of the day it's better to end things now than to lead a person on. The only way I'd reject someone coldly is if they kept trying to flirt/hit on me and they didn't get the hint that I wasn't interested.

I always reject in a nice way but still firm haha, so I guess sometimes it can seem cold.. But of don't really regret it. I am not interested so it's better to let him know though being bitchy is not necessary. It's flattering when a guy hits on me so I try to reject nicely, I get cold if he gets annoying.

yes because i was rejected by a girl at a disco, she told the dj to say it and bless her to this day she feels awful about it and that was 25 years ago but we have a laugh and joke bout it now!

Yep and i never experienced such humiliation but we was young and she was in a kinda girl gang etc etc and i knew that wasn't her and i still bump into her now and have drinks, ps she asked me back to hers one night but i politely declined! ironic!

I never regret my decision to reject someone I don't like. That question has been asked a dozen times here as if guys think girls reject them for the hell of it and then cry because she thinks he's so awesome and amazing lol.

Anyway I never reject coldly or in a mean way. But I am more blunt than I used to be because if you make up lies or sugar coat it the guy will ask again... and again... and again...

i feel bad rejecting guys in a nice way, so i think i would seriously have to go back and say sorry if i rejected someone like that. I would definitely owe them like a date or something after that rejection.

I will be honest so yes. There have been one or two times I have rejected guys harshly but that was only cause they kept asking me out. It got annoying but I regret how I said it

I laughed at one guy that asked mostly because I was extremely frustrated (he had asked me like 20 times before) and I feel really bad.

I don't regret it but I always feel bad after. It's just a bummer to say reject a really nice guy, but if the feelings aren't there, there's not much I can do about it.
