A girl rolls her eyes when I say "hi"?

I'm not into her or anything, but I try to be friendly and say "hi" but she'll roll her eyes and not say anything back. Should I just stop trying to be friendly and stop saying "hi"? We don't have any history and have barely talked, so I have no idea why she's acting like that.

I don't want to reward bad behavior by trying hard to get her attention, but should I just do the opposite and ignore her?

I hate men who say hi with a smile.. its like WHAT? you want some reward and cookies for being "legally" polite and making me have to deal with you?
basically when you say Hi out of the blue its like saying, I want your ass or something.
its not elementary where you can just walk up to a girl and say, "want to be friends" ? girls are always getting bombarded since age 13 and up from guys who feel entitled to just come inject themselves into our life.

you should not be like those annoying hound guys, get some perspective and social sophistication, it will serve you well in life.

Well, if a girl thinks a guy who says "hi" when he's walking past her is saying "I want your ass" is most likely deluded, and lacks sophistication.

And girls with that attitude usually aren't the most attractive ones, but rather are the average ones who WANT to believe every guy wants them.

I'm not saying a guy intends that, I'm saying it often feels like that.. tell me, how do you feel when you travel in a 3rd world nation and random street kids come up to you and say Hi and do you need anything? isn't it like them coming up to you and asking for money or work? if you walk in the shoes of a girl during teen years believe me you will have a very different perspective.

do you also say hi when you walk down a dark path at night and a girl is walking quickly home with her head down? do you stand in front of her and ask her how she is doing? where do you draw the line with "Hi"

I'm sure its easy for you to just call me some stupid girl who's full of herself and thinks she is so hot and everyone wants her ~ but all that maters is the truth, and you do not see it.. older women do not say Hi to you with strong eye contact 10 times an hour when your out in public do they? but the DO for any half decent looking younger girl, consider others and not just your own ego

when that girl eye rolls at you what she is saying is omg how stupid and young are you... you have no idea how pitiful it is when some younger guys comes up and says Hi and gives a smile, its like popping into a war zone in Iraq and saying Hi people who just lost their family and expecting them to chit chat with you... most guys like you are so far out of reality of how other people feel... all im saying is to have empathy, try to imagine "hi" 30 times a day.. and all the really freak guys mixed in, and guys 50 years older

if you really want a girl to say hi back... looks scary... when some guy with tattoo's and blood shot eyes says hi to me, I always smile and say hi back and give a head nod.. but when a 21 year old handsome British guy says Hi, I look right through that annoying child... let his mother explain the world, not me. he pisses me of, I can not stand people who only feel their own emotions and interject their needs on others.

Either she's just a cold person, or she's heard something bad about you that she doesn't like, so she'd rather just not communicate with you. You know how rumors/gossip and school go hand in hand. Honestly, I think you should direct that positive energy towards someone who actually deserves it, because you seem like a really nice guy, and there is someone who will appreciate you taking the time to greet them :)

She's a bitch. Rolling your eyes at someone is a sign that they aren't good enough for you, or a waste of your time. I think you should tell her off next time she does it, come up with a good comeback and then she probably won't do it again.
