Because everybody is getting in relationships so fast, I know 20 years old who are already married.
I got the same remarks when I was 18 without a boyfriend, it no big deal and just keep living your life you may just don't want a relationship right away.

a lot of my guys friends, we talk and they tell me they never had a girlfriend till now and there twenty. I believe both genders lie about having a relationship since there this negative tone to it. I personally just tell them I never had one.

Because it's just what people say. It's about the same as saying "Hi, how are you today?"... people don't really want you to tell all about your day or how you are (unless it's good, of course). It usually comes from friends who are girls because you act more normal around them than you might around girls you have an interest in.

Younger girls tend to go out with dickheads, because they are adventurous, wild, chaotic and so on. Sometimes they feel compelled, because they seem so unreachable, which adds to the attraction.

Women, who had these experiences tend to look for alternatives - or opposites - meaning: nice and softer boys, cuddlebears and such.
