Why are High School girls so immature?

So, being single, i need to find some thing to blame it on. This week i have chosen immaturity in highschool girls. But i find it a real problem, every time i talk to girl i find them childish. The worst thing about it is that they dont get my jokes! Now trust me, im not some loser (no offence losers). So i doubt thats the problem.

So funny, because when I was in High school I thought all the boys were immature. We were trying so hard to act like the young adults we were becoming, The girls I hung out with were worried about health issues and how to look our best and doing well in school, and it seemed that all the guys were interested in was sex, sports and telling stupid jokes (just kidding) So you know that is from a girl's perspective, but science backs me up: Females mature much more quickly than males during the teenage years. All that being said, I still just loved it when guys paid attention to me or told me a joke! I really did enjoy it.

Maybe your jokes just aren't as funny as you think they are? My dad is like that. He'll tell awful jokes and then get offended when others don't find them funny. He always blames it on people not having a sense of humor... when really he just sucks at it lol. Anyways, not trying to be mean saying that...

Maybe you don't have funny jokes... I find it hard that they're all very childish since girls tend to act a little but more mature than guys when they're younger... maybe your just much more mature than everybody your age... I don't know

Well, my reason for thinking high school girls are immature is their expectations of relationships, but okay.

Maybe because they are not mature yet. That's why they're in HS

I have a pretty good sense of humor and I'm a High School girl. I think either it's just the ones your talking to or you just aren't funny an need to find better jokes to tell.
